
This illustration was based on an article about the impact of changing technology on the working environment of radiologists - essentially, ergonomics. The client envisaged a take on Leonardo da Vinci's 'Vitruvian Man' and asked for that concept to be pencilled up, together with any other approaches I might have.
Two other ideas came to mind. One, a figure breaking free from the restrictions of old technology (below right) and a more of an information graphics image focussing on body postures. In the event that was the preferred option and was used on the cover as above.


I also produced an expanded version which was used on an interior spread.
